Description
Disposable sterile ophthalmic wipes for the periocular treatment of dogs and cats also in case of ophthalmic disorders of various kinds.
The wipes are able to hydrate and cleanse the periocular surface of the eye in pets.
They are indicated for the removal from the eyelids and eyelashes of mucus, crusts or secretions due to inflammatory and/or infectious phenomena. Pet Eye Wipes can also be used in animal ophthalmic surgery (e.g. corneal, eyelid surgery for cataracts) before and after surgery.
How to use
After cleaning your hands well, open the sachet and remove the gauze. Apply the gauze in the eyelid area, passing it gently, so as to allow adequate cleansing, removal of eye secretions and any deposits of other origins (smog, dust, dust, etc.).
- Hot compress: in the event of particularly organized secretions or blockage of the lacrimal canaliculus, in the presence of pathologies such as meibomites, chalazion and blepharitis, it is advisable to heat the closed bag for a few minutes in warm water (about 40 °C) and then use the gauze as a compress warm by massaging gently (according to the indications of the veterinary surgeon).
- Cold compress: in the case of inflammation or eyelid surgery it is advisable to cool the closed bag in the refrigerator for a few hours by applying the gauze open to the eye (with the eyelids closed), keeping it in place for a few minutes as a cold compress.

100% sterile cotton gauze soaked in 2.8 ml of the following solution: aqua, sodiumcocoyl wheat amino acids, sodium hyaluronate, ammonium glycyrrhizate, phenethyl alcohol,ethylhexylglycerin, Aloe barbadensis leaf juice powder, Chamomilla recutita extract,Euphrasia officinalis extract, Calendula officinalis flower extract, niacinamide, propylene glycol, PEG-40 hydrogenated castor oil, polysorbate 20, sodium chloride, sodium phosphate, disodium phosphate.
Warnings

The gauze is disposable, reuse could be a vehicle for infections.
The sterility of the product is guaranteed only if the bag is intact.
Keep out of reach of children.
Read the instructions for use carefully.
Suspend the treatment in case of evident irritation or hypersensitivity to the product.
In case of infectious states do not use the same gauze for both eyes.
