Description
Ophthalmic solution for veterinary use with high molecular weight sodium hyaluronate, obtained by biotechnological synthesis.
The lubricating, hydrating and protective qualities of sodium hyaluronate alleviate irritation, dryness, burning and eye disorders following the animal's behavior which leads one to believe the presence of foreign bodies on the ocular surface due to environmental elements (such as wind, sun, smoke, dry air in apartments), visual stress (e.g. excessive light) or mechanical factors (such as dust, pollen, sand or in the period following eye surgery), providing lasting relief. Sodium hyaluronate is a substance that gives rise to viscous mucomimetic solutions that have excellent lubricating properties that induce a hydrating and stabilizing effect on the animal's tear film.
The product does not contain phosphates and preservatives.
Instructions for use
Wash your hands and remove the cap from the tube, hold the animal's head still and pull down the lower eyelid of the eye with a finger to form a pouch. Squeeze the product slowly until a small drop forms at the tip of the bottle. Make sure to close the bottle. Instill 1-2 drops in each eye of the animal 2-3 times a day, or according to the veterinary surgeon's instructions.
Components
Sodium hyaluronate (0.4% w/v), sodium chloride, sodium citrate, citric acid monohydrate, water for injections.
Warnings
The product is for external ophthalmic use only.
Do not use if container is damaged.
Do not use in case of sensitivity to any of the components.
Do not use after the expiry date indicated on the container.
Do not touch the eye with the tip of the bottle.
Wait at least 10-15 minutes before administering any other ophthalmic drug.
Close the bottle carefully after each use, making sure that the tip is free from any residual drops; if present, shake them away with a firm movement of the wrist.
Keep out of the sight and reach of children.
Do not swallow.
To prevent the bottle from folding on itself, do not administer more than 30 consecutive drops.

Validity with intact packaging: 24 months.
Post-opening validity: 90 days.
