Onychomycosis treatment

Biphasic treatment of onychomycosis. Restoration of the optimal state of the nail.
2 tubes of 15ml each.

Onychomycosis is a nail disease, usually of the feet, generated by fungi or bacteria; these pathogens can trigger the infection in one part of the nail, in the whole nail or affect the others as well. Fungi, including Candida albicans, Trichophyton and Epidermophyton - are the main triggers of onychomycosis: however, molds and yeasts (eg Aspergillus) can also cause or enhance the damage. Parasites only cause damage under certain conditions; among the predisposing factors for onychomycosis, we recall: weakening of the host's immune defenses, humid places, athlete's foot, psoriasis, lack of perspiration of the feet, high temperature associated with sweating and peripheral vasculopathies. In case of onychomycosis the diseased nail undergoes an alteration of its natural color; moreover, it appears more fragile, brittle, deformed and tends to thicken. As the onychomycosis progresses, it could generate a bad smell, as well as infect the surrounding skin, and then spread to other areas of the body.

INDICATIONS

The treatment is carried out in two cyclical phases 3 days + 3 days to be applied in the evening. Cleanse the affected area before each application. Apply phase 1 for three days: dispense a small amount of gel polish all over the nail and let it dry for 2 minutes. From the fourth to the sixth day, phase 2 is applied for 3 consecutive days in the same way. On the seventh day nothing is put on leaving the part to rest. Repeat the cycle several times according to the advice of the specialist. Repeat more cycles indefinitely according to the specialist's opinion.
