COMPOSITION

Bulking agent (microcrystalline cellulose); Aromas (roast beef and enhancer); Serenoa (Serenoa repens) fructus; Urtica dioica folium; Bearberry (Arctostaphylos uva-ursi) folium; Epilobium (Epilobium parviflorum) summitas; Anti-caking agents (Magnesium stearate and colloidal silica); Lycopene.

Serenoa repens : inhibition activity of 5-alpha-reductase (enzyme that transforms testosterone into dihydrotestosterone (DHT), which stimulates the proliferation of prostate cells; performs an action of selective antagonism towards the prostatic dihydrotestosterone receptors (block prostatic stimulation) , an anti-estrogenic effect by reducing estrogen receptors in the prostate (estrogens promote prostatic hypertrophy); this extract is also anti-inflammatory and anti-edema.

Arctostaphylos uva-ursi : inhibition of the proliferation of prostatic fibroblasts, prostatic anti-edema action and decrease in plasma testosterone concentration.

Urtica dioica : inhibition of prostate cell proliferation, inhibition of prostaglandins in the prostate and anti-edema and anti-inflammatory action.

Epilobium parviflorium: inhibition of inflammatory prostaglandins and inhibition of 5-alpha-reductase (enzyme that transforms testosterone into dihydrotestosterone by stimulating the proliferation of prostate cells).

Lycopene : seems to inhibit the neoplastic modification of prostate cells and induce apoptosis of prostate cancer cells. Substance also endowed with anti-inflammatory and antioxidant action.
