Gynecological Cream

Description

Gynecological cream indicated in fungal affections from candida albicans, relieves irritation and itching and restores the physiological pH and the ecosystem of the vaginal mucosa.

• Tea tree essential oil : alters the functions and structure of the bacterial and fungal plasma membrane, predisposing the denaturation of the microorganism and implementing an antibacterial and antifungal action, in particular against candida albicans and candida glabrata.
• Lavender essential oil : with antimicrobial action, useful for reducing any unpleasant odors that may occur in the case of bacterial infections.
• Rhatany : used in case of infection and lesions affecting the oral cavity. Ineolignans and norlignans contained in the extract are able to effectively inhibit the proliferation of fungi and bacteria. Furthermore, the derivatives of the lignans possess anti-inflammatory and antioxidant activities, useful for counteracting the inflammatory and oxidative phenomena that characterize the fungal infection.
• High molecular weight hyaluronic acid : natural polysaccharide which, thanks to its hygroscopicity, is able to form a consistent gel with a filming and protective action, in order to hydrate, soothe and lubricate the mucosa, as well as favoring its correct re-epithelialization. Furthermore, hyaluronic acid, by generating a barrier effect against the harmful activity of pathogens, hinders its adhesion to the epithelium and prevents its hyperproliferation.
• Lactic acid : has the ability to maintain the vaginal pH around acidity values between pH 4.0 and 4.5, so as to hamper the survival of pathogens that attack the mucosa and instead favor the activity of the bacteria that physiologically inhabit the vaginal environment.
• Zanthalene : is able to inhibit the transmission of the pain impulse through the neuro-muscular junction, blocking the synaptic junction, with a strong anti-itch action, useful in case of vaginal infections of fungal origin.
• Calendula : has anti-inflammatory activity due to the presence of triterpenes, in particular faradiol and its derivatives, while the healing action is ascribable to the ability of the calendula extract to promote the production of granulation tissue and to favor the increase in the production of collagen, promoting normal hydration and re-epithelialization of the mucosa.
• Bisabolol : active principle obtained by distillation of the essential oil of chamomile; it is mainly used for its soothing action as it has the ability to inhibit and calm redness due to skin irritation, but it is also endowed with a good anti-inflammatory action.
• 18-beta glycyrrhetic acid : it is a triterpene that is extracted from the licorice root. Used topically, it acts as an anti-inflammatory thanks to its ability to prolong the normal activity of cortisol, an endogenous substance that is released following an inflammatory stimulus, in order to counteract the inflammatory state.
