Mutations and polymorphisms of MTHFR (Methyl-Tetrahydrofolate Reductase) produce, through different altered metabolic pathways, an increase in homocysteine, considered a risk factor, in addition to those already known, for atherosclerotic vascular disease.

Using calcium L-5-methylfolate prevents folate deficiency conditions, caused by a metabolic defect resulting from the familiarity of congenital mutations or polymorphisms of the Methyl-Tetrahydrofolate Reductase (MTHFR) gene.

Calcium L-5-methylfolate is used by the body as such, without undergoing biotransformation processes. It represents the almost total form of folate present in the bloodstream.

Only the rational multiple association of the substances contained in MTHFR Prevent® allows to control all the defects that the various mutations and polymorphisms produce in the different metabolic pathways of HOMOCYSTEINE.

Gluten free. Naturally lactose free.

How to use: We recommend 1 tablet a day.
