Composed of a plant extract: Phillantus Niruri, and two mineral elements: Potassium Citrate and Magnesium Citrate.

Phyllantus Niruri is a plant extract known for its beneficial properties on the physiological functions of the urinary tract.

COMPOSITION

Phillantus Niruri, obtained from the vegetable extract of Quebra-Pedra, contains botanical factors that regulate the genitourinary system, relax the muscles, increase diuresis and facilitate the disintegration process of kidney stones. Magnesium Citrate and Potassium Citrate inhibit calculus (both oxalate and phosphate), binding to calcium and lowering its concentration in the urine and thus inhibiting the various stages of stone formation.
Magnesium Citrate and Potassium Citrate delay the aggregation of struvite, i.e. infected stones (the one that leads to triple-phosphate-ammonium-magnesium stones):

• Increasing the urine pH between 6-7 controls uratic stones.
• Increasing the pH beyond 7 controls cystine stones.
• By improving the clearance of residual fragments after ESWL.

Citrates are therefore elements capable of inhibiting the crystallization, growth and aggregation of salts dissolved in urine. Numerous studies have now shown how high doses of Potassium Citrate and Magnesium favor the crushing of stones.

The particular composition of LITOCALC, with the presence of Phillantus Niruri, makes it a powerful "disruptor" of kidney stones and an effective replenisher of mineral salts.
