Food supplement of Lipoic Acid and Gingko Biloba phytosome.

Useful for the prevention and complementary therapy of peripheral neuropathies of various etiology.

MielinAct contains two active ingredients: alpha-lipoic acid and pentacyclic diterpenes isolated , the latter from the leaves of a medicinal plant, Ginkgo Biloba, which has long been known for its therapeutic properties in the CNS area and which are often indicated with the term of Ginkgolide B.

• The chemically characterized Ginkgo Biloba extract gives the presence of two different active fractions. The purified terpene fraction potently anti-PAF. It also promotes mitochondrial physiological activity (reducing the formation of free radicals). These actions counteract many manifestations related to the presence of a peripheral neuropathy. From a pharmacokinetic point of view, the terpene fraction is not completely bioavailable. To overcome this problem of this fraction, the phytosomal form has been developed which greatly improves the oral bioavailability of the terpenes from Ginkgo Biloba.
• Lipoic acid (also known as thioptic acid), a fat-soluble molecule. It participates in various anti-oxidative mechanisms, generating an important contrasting action on poly-neuropathic manifestations. This is mainly thanks to its anti-radical abilities. For this reason it is used in neuropathies of various etiology: toxic, metabolic, ischemic and viral.

It consists of a two-layer scheduled release tablet where the same active ingredients (alpha-lipoic acid and phytosome terpenes) are available in both layers. The difference in the layers exists in a different regulation of the times of transfer and release of the active ingredients in order to configure an adequate and constant piasmatic presence in the plasma throughout the day.

USE

We recommend taking 1 tablet per day, preferably in the morning on an empty stomach.

Keep out of the reach of children under 3 years old. Do not exceed the recommended daily dose. Supplements are not intended as a substitute for a varied and balanced diet and a healthy lifestyle. The use of the product during pregnancy and lactation is not recommended. MielinAct is not indicated in subjects with abnormalities of the coagulation cascade, in the process of surgery, in chronic therapy with anticoagulants or antiplatelet agents. For doses higher than 3 tablets / day, side effects such as itching, tingling, cramps and gastrointestinal tract diseases (diarrhea, vomiting) are conceivable.
