Eucerin Photoaging Control Sun Fluid SPF 30 is a face sunscreen for everyday use. It helps prevent premature skin aging caused by sunlight (known as photoaging) and protects the skin from sunburn and sun damage.

While most modern sun products protect against UVA and UVB rays, Eucerin Photoaging Control Sun Fluid SPF 30 increases the level of sun protection while also fighting oxidative stress caused by High Energy Visible light (HEV light). The formula hydrates while protecting, stimulating the skin's natural ability to retain moisture, replenishing it from the inside and reducing the appearance of deep wrinkles.

UVB rays penetrate into the most superficial layers of the skin (the epidermis) and can cause sunburn. UVA and HEV rays (visible at high energy) penetrate the deeper layers of the skin (the dermis) and generate free radicals. These interfere with the activity of skin cells, damage collagen and elastic fibers and can cause premature skin aging: the skin begins to lose volume and firmness and deep wrinkles are formed. UV rays are also associated with sun allergies, all three types of rays can cause hyperpigmentation and contribute to conditions such as sunspots (also known as age spots) and melasma.

In addition to a highly effective, broad spectrum and photostable UVA / UVB filter system, the innovative formula of Eucerin Photoaging Control Sun Fluid SPF 30 contains two powerful antioxidants - Licocalcone A and Glycyrrhetic Acid - which work together to help protect the skin from the signs of photoaging. Licocalcone A neutralizes free radicals that cause oxidative stress and accelerate skin aging, while Glycyrrhetic Acid stimulates the natural DNA repair mechanisms of the skin.
The formula is also enriched with Hyaluronic Acid which hydrates the skin and binds water, filling the skin from the inside and reducing the appearance of deep wrinkles.

In a further In Vivo product efficacy study, women (aged 35 to 65) applied Eucerin Photoaging Control Sun Fluid SPF 30 twice daily in a test on different parts of the face. After four weeks of regular use, clinical photography and 3D measurement confirmed that wrinkles and fine lines on the face and décolleté were visibly reduced.

An independent study has confirmed that sunscreens containing Licocalcone A, an active ingredient in Eucerin Photoaging Control Sun Fluid SPF 30, guarantee efficacy and extended protection: both against HEV and UV rays.

Recommendations for use

Apply generously before sun exposure and reapply frequently, especially after swimming, sweating or drying off, to maintain the original protection;
Reducing the amount of product used significantly reduces the level of protection.
You can use the palm of your hand to measure the amount of product to apply. As a general rule, we recommend that you use a thick strip of sunscreen extending from the inside of your middle finger to your wrist to cover your head and neck.
Don't forget the ears, lips and back of the neck. And, if you are bald or have thinning hair, don't forget your scalp.
Do not expose yourself to the sun for too long, even if you use sunscreen. Excessive exposure to the sun is a health risk;
Keep infants and young children out of direct sunlight;
Avoid contact with eyes.
Allow to absorb completely and avoid direct contact with fabrics and surfaces that could get stained.
