DUALCOL is a food supplement indicated in the following cases:

• Boswellia: rich in boswellic acids, it inhibits the enzyme vital to the biosynthesis of leukotrienes (5-lipoxygenase) pro-inflammatory molecules that contribute to ulcerative colitis.
• Dandelion: the active ingredients (triterpene alcohols, flavonoids, inulin, mineral salts) give the plant detoxifying properties for the liver, favoring the elimination of waste. it has a hepato-protective action and is indicated in case of hepatic insufficiency and gallstones.
• Sodium butyrate: very important energy source for the cells of the intestinal mucosa. Recent studies have shown that butyrate, produced by the fermentation of dietary fibers by intestinal bacteria, works as an epigenetic "switch" by stimulating the immune system to produce regulatory T cells in the intestine. It is used in therapy for inflammatory intestinal diseases (Chron's disease) and for the reconstruction of tight joints.
• L-Glutamine: essential amino acid in protecting the intestinal membrane from entry and attack by bacteria and toxins that can irritate the nerves and cause symptoms of irritable bowel syndrome (diarrhea, bloating, abdominal pain).
