Ribes nigrum bud extract: buds rich in essential oil, flavonoids and glycosides act as stimulants of the adrenal glands in the production of cortisol, an endogenous cortisone that helps the body to react to inflammation. This cortison-like activity generates a very important reaction because it increases the production of adrenal steroids normally secreted by our glands to counteract any type of stress, eliminate inflammation and temporarily inhibit the action of the immune system that triggers allergies. The bud extract of the currant nigrum is therefore used for its powerful natural anti-inflammatory and antihistamine property that acts both on the skin and on the respiratory tract, and is therefore indicated in cases of asthma, allergic and chronic rhinitis, dermatitis and allergic conjunctivitis.

Hawthorn: hydroxycinnamic derivatives, flavonoids, monoterpene glycosides, triterpenes, sesquiterpenes, and an essential oil contained in the vegetable give hawthorn anti-inflammatory and antioxidant properties.
