MILUPA PKU 1-MIX with LCP-Milupan® is a phenylalanine-free breastfeeding product. It consists of a mixture of amino acids, carbohydrates, vitamins, minerals and a particular mixture of fats, LCP-Milupan® (long-chain polyunsaturated fatty acids that play a fundamental role in the development of cognitive and visual functions during the first year of life) .
MILUPA PKU 1-MIX is indicated in the daily diet of infants and children aged 0 to 1 with phenylketonuria and hyperphenylalaninemia.

Phenylalanine-free infant formula

• Ideal for feeding people with phenylketonuria and hyperphenylalaninemia
• Contains LCP-Milupan®
• With carbohydrates, vitamins, minerals and trace elements
• It does not contain sucrose
• Not suitable as a sole source of nutrients

Dosage and use

The daily dose of MILUPA PKU 1-MIX required to meet the daily protein requirement is subject to age, body weight and individual tolerance level to phenylalanine. This dose, therefore, must be periodically adjusted by the doctor.
The daily amount of MILUPA PKU 1-MIX should be administered in 3-5 single servings in addition to calculated doses of breast milk or infant formula.
MILUPA PKU 1-MIX-based diets must meet the daily requirement of energy, essential fatty acids and phenylalanine.

Dilution

13.8g of powder (3 scoops) + 90ml of water = 100ml of phenylalanine-free product

1 scoop = 4.6g of powder

storage

Keep in a cold and dry place. Once the package has been opened, use the product within 1 month.
The reconstituted product is not sterile and must therefore be prepared immediately before use.
