PKU Anamix Infant is a phenylalanine-free powdered food with essential and non-essential amino acids, carbohydrates, fats, vitamins, minerals and trace elements. Enriched with LC PUFA and prebiotic fibers.
Indications
PKU Anamix Infant is indicated in the dietary management of phenylketonuria in infants from birth to 12 months and as a supplement in children up to 3 years of age.
Use and doses
The diet must be supplemented with natural proteins and other nutrients, for example breast milk or appropriate formula for infants in the quantities prescribed by the doctor to reach the required needs.The recommended dilution is 15% w / v (for example 15g of product reconstituted at 100ml with water).

The osmolality of PKU Anamix Infant at the recommended dilution is 380 mosm / kg.
Important note
The powdered formula is not sterile so it is recommended, where possible, to prepare it immediately before administration and consume it within 1 hour.
