FFP2 FILTER MASK
Description
The PM220 filtering half face mask falls into Category III of personal protective equipment, as it is a personal respiratory protective device with an efficiency level equal to FFP2, capable of protecting against dust, smoke and solid and liquid aerosols harmful to health, the concentration of which reaches up to about 10 times the value established by the legislation.
General characteristics:
- the filtering facial half mask is shell-shaped, white in colour, not equipped with an exhalation valve, and covers the mouth, nose and chin;
- guarantees a wide field of vision, effective adherence to the face and appropriate comfort, thanks to the ear elastic bands heat-sealed to the filtering fabric of the mask, and to the nose bar for adjustment;
- it is intended for professional use in both industrial and civil fields, and is of the non-reusable type.
How to use
1. With the reverse of the respirator facing you, using the tab, separate the upper and lower flaps of the respirator until you obtain a shell shape. Slightly bend the center of the nose clip.
2. Make sure there are no creases inside each flap.
3. Hold the respirator with the open side facing your face. Grasp both elastic bands with your hands. Place the respirator under the chin with the nosepiece facing up.
4. Place the elastic bands behind the ears. The rubber bands must not be twisted. Adjust the upper and lower flaps until an optimal seal is obtained.
5. Using both hands, shape the nose clip so that it fits snugly around the nose and cheeks.
6. Perform a leak test by covering the respirator with both hands and being careful not to disturb the fit.
Remove the mask avoiding touching the front, and instead removing the elastics from the ears. Start the half mask for disposal as per these instructions. Practice hand hygiene with hydroalcoholic solution for 20-40 seconds or with soap and water for at least 60 seconds.

The PM220 half mask is a single use product, therefore it cannot be reused. Any reuse could expose the operator to dangers deriving from a loss and/or decrease in the filtering efficiency and other initial safety features of the half mask.
Recommended usage time: 8 hours.
Before use, make sure that the PM220 half mask is suitable for the application and/or work environment in which you intend to use it, and that it is worn correctly.
Do not modify or alter the half mask in any way. Do not use the half mask in a manner that does not comply with the importer's instructions.
This respirator does not deliver oxygen. Do not use in environments with an oxygen level below 19.5%.
Do not use when contaminants are in concentrations that are immediately dangerous to health and life, are unknown, or have little warning properties (such as odor or taste).
Do not use for protection against organic vapors with a boiling point below 65°C.
Do not use the respirator if you have a beard or long sideburns which do not allow direct contact between the face and the sealing edge.
Do not use for protection against contaminants in concentrations that generate heat.
Do not use respirators as emergency devices.
