Edible mushroom that grows in Europe and Asia on woodlands consisting of oaks and beeches, in clusters of over 20 kg, light brown in color. In Traditional Chinese Medicine, Polyporus is widely used as a natural diuretic and these properties have been confirmed by modern medical research. In particular, it stimulates the urinary excretion of sodium and chlorine without however loss of potassium, thanks to its draining function it improves lymphatic stasis and increases the elimination of liquids through the urine.
