Toothpaste useful for the prophylaxis and reduction of gum disease resulting from the continuous and prolonged microbial attack of dental plaque . The gums become irritated and inflamed with annoying and painful sensations which, if not properly treated, can degenerate into periodontitis. In these conditions, the gums retract, irritated, erythematous gingival pockets can form, with the development of tooth instability and consequent risk of falling. The antibacterial and astringent action of this toothpaste ensures a generalized control and improvement of irritation and gum problems. A balanced dosage of Triclosan, Sodium Fluoride, Zinc citrate and extracts of Sanguinaria canadensis and hawthorn, counteracts the formation of plaque, reduces bacterial reproduction, prevents the formation of caries, astringes the gingival tissues by appropriately treating periodontitis.
