With sweeteners based on acetyl L-carnitine, nerve acid, some B vitamins (folate, vitamin B6 and vitamin B12) and theobroma cacaopowder. Folate, vitamin B6 and vitamin B12 contribute to the normal metabolism of homocysteine, to normal psychological function and to the reduction of tiredness and fatigue. In addition, folate and vitamin B6 contribute to the normal functioning of the nervous system. Theobroma cacao contributes to a normal mood as well as giving a pleasant taste to the product.

Property

• Acetyl L-carnitine (ALC): acetyl L-carnitine, obtained through the esterification of L-carnitine with an acetyl group, is a source of L-carnitine for the body. Acetyl L-carnitine has a neuroprotective activity and is useful in age-related cholinergic cognitive deficits, such as senile dementia, Alzheimer's disease and in various other neuropathies. L-carnitine exerts antioxidant effects in the body as well as a cardioprotective effect. While the acetyl component of acetylL-carnitine contributes to the synthesis of the neurotransmitter acetylcholine. Deficiency of this neurotransmitter acetylcholine in the brain is partly implicated in some dementia states related to aging. Furthermore, acetyl L-carnitine also shows benefits in mood disorders, including major depressive disorder and dysthymia.
• Nervonic acid: Nervonic acid is a long-chain monounsaturated fatty acid. It is significantly present in nerve tissue and brain white matter. Nervonic acid is an important precursor of myelin biosynthesis. It is able to increase glutathione in the brain by increasing gamma glutamate cysteine ligase, the enzyme responsible for a first step in its biosynthesis. Nervonic acid would therefore seem to have a beneficial role in the treatment of genetic disorders of lipid metabolism. It has also been observed that low levels of nerve acid in the brain are associated with demyelinating apathologies such as multiple sclerosis. Nervonic acid can find use thanks to its neuroprotective and neurotrophic action in food supplements, it allows a strengthening of the transmission of the intercellular signal helping to maintain a correct functioning of the myelin sheath, essential for the transmission of the nerve impulse.
• B vitamins: the B vitamins present are vitamin B6, vitamin B12 and folic acid (vitamin B9). These vitamins possess neuroprotective activity and are specifically used in peripheral neuropathies and mood disorders.
• Theobroma cacao: Theobroma cacao powder has been known for centuries as the antidepressant par excellence. In fact, in cocoa there are duetetrahydroisoquinolines, salsolinol and salsolin, dopamine-derived alkaloids able to act as antidepressants, improve mood giving a sense of fulfillment and satisfaction.

How to use
We recommend taking one sachet a day to be dissolved in 100 ml of water, early in the morning or on an empty stomach.
