Probios Gluten Free Amaranth Cereals
Probios gluten-free cereals are a precious base for the preparation of many recipes: sautéed with vegetables, for flans or soups and many other preparations that your imagination suggests! Amaranth is a flowering plant of the characteristic "amaranth red" color which boasts ancient origins: it was already cultivated 5,000 years ago in the Andean areas and in present-day Mexico. It was at the basis of the diet of the Incas and the Aztecs, who considered it sacred. By heating the seeds over low heat, they burst obtaining a "popcorn" ideal for muesli, crunchy and sweet. Its nutritional characteristics make it a source of protein and fibers.
