RECTAL GEL

Indications
Indicated in anorectal reparative processes such as in the case of hemorrhoids and ragadianali.
To promote and accelerate the healing of injuries or trauma resulting from the surgical treatment of hemorrhoids and anal fissures.

Instructions for Use
Unscrew the cap, break through the safety seal with the rear cap and screw the endo-rectal cannula equipped with a protective cap on the neck of the tube itself.
Remove the cap and squeeze until the cannula is full, releasing a small amount of product to lubricate the cannula.
Gently insert the cannula into the rectum.
Squeeze the tube again until a sufficient quantity of product is introduced.
Also apply on the external area.
After use, carefully clean the cannula and cover it with the cap.

Frequency of use
For perianal or endorectal applications, apply two to three times a day and when possible after each evacuation. Continue the applications for 1-2 weeks until the symptoms disappear.

Characteristics
Medical device containing high molecular weight hyaluronic acid, MSM and tea treeoil, formulated in a fresh gel for application on the rectal mucosa which creates a protective barrier in the injured or inflamed area.

Property
Hyaluronic acid is a polysaccharide consisting of non-branched chain glycosaminoglycans widely present in connective tissue and which plays an important role in tissue repair as it accelerates and modulates the re-epithelialisation processes following lesions of various origins, restoring tone and elasticity of fabrics.
MSM is a natural substance present both in plants and physiologically in the human body with antioxidant power and able to improve the effects of hyaluronic acid. Tea tree oil of melaleuca alternifolia helps to keep the microenvironment of the injured area under control by promoting the effects of hyaluronic acid.

Contraindications
Individual ascertained hypersensitivity to the components present.
Since complete data are not available, the product is not recommended during pregnancy except in cases of real need and under the direct supervision of the treating physician.

Precautions for use
It is advisable to carry out a thorough washing of the affected areas before application.
After application, it is recommended to avoid evacuation for at least 20-30 minutes to avoid premature removal of the gel. If this is not possible, it is recommended to repeat the application after evacuation and careful washing of the parts concerned.

Warnings
Do not use the medical device after the expiry date stated on the package.
The medical device must be used within six months of first opening.
Do not use the device if the external packaging or the safety seal are damaged upon first use.
The use, especially if prolonged of topical products, can give rise to sensitization phenomena. In this case it is necessary to interrupt the treatment and consult the doctor to establish a suitable therapy.
If bleeding occurs, consult your doctor before using any treatment.
If symptoms persist after treatment, consult your doctor.
Keep the product out of the reach of children.
