Cholesterol Devices Control Test

Devices for testing cholesterol levels in whole blood, serum or plasma, for professional and self-test use, using fingertip blood.

Test Mission Cholesterol devices use a timed end point method to measure whole blood, serum or plasma concentrations of total cholesterol (CHOL), high density lipoprotein (HDL) and triglycerides (TRIG).

The low density lipoprotein (LDL) concentration is calculated from the values of CHOL, TRIG and HDL.

The system monitors the change in absorbency at 635 nm over a fixed time interval.

The change in absorbance is directly proportional to the lipid concentration in the sample.
