AirStylo + RinoFlux PIC - Medical Device

AirStylo: Class IIa medical device which, by transforming drugs from the liquid or suspension form to the aerosol form, allows them to be administered by air directly into the respiratory system.
The ampoule supplied with AirSTYLO allows the correct penetration of the drug into the respiratory tract, thanks to the size of the particles produced.

RinoFlux: Sterile preparation composed of sodium chloride and purified water. The vial is sterile and ready to use, practical to use and to keep within reach of your hand.
Is indicated:
- in aerosol therapy, alone, as a fluidifier of secretions to humidify nasal mucosa;
- for cleaning the nose, in adults, in case of abundant nasal secretions and in children who are not able to blow it independently;
- for the daily hygiene of the nasal mucous membranes, in order to prevent obstructions due to the stagnation of secretions;
- to facilitate the drainage of excess secretions, in case of colds;
- can also be used for external cleaning of the eyes.
It can also be used for a prolonged period as it has no contraindications.
The product is in single-dose vials. It is advisable to use it only once in order to maintain the sterility characteristics unaltered.

Components

RinoFlux: Sodium chloride 0.9%, sterile water to taste 100 ml.

How to use

AirStylo: Take the appliance and accessories out of the packaging. Open the ampoule, pour the drug and / or physiological solution into it, following the doses recommended by the doctor, without exceeding the maximum level indicated by the mark on the ampoule itself; close the ampoule.
Connect the ampoule to the connecting tube, then connect the accessory suitable for the therapy: adult or child mask, mouthpiece (applied parts). Connect the hose to the compressed air outlet and to the bulb.
If in doubt, ask your doctor which accessory to use. Insert the plug of the AC / DC mains adapter cable into the appropriate socket on the set. Connect the plug of the AC / DC mains adapter to the mains socket. Turn the device on by pressing the on / off switch and start therapy. Carry out the therapy preferably sitting and in a comfortable position.
When the aerosol flow becomes intermittent, interrupt the therapy for a few seconds to allow the drops in suspension to settle on the walls of the ampoule. Resume therapy and end the session, which ends when the nebulized solution no longer comes out of the ampoule.
At the end of the treatment, switch off the appliance, disconnect the plug of the AC / DC mains adapter from the mains socket, disconnect the plug of the AC / DC mains adapter cable from the socket on the appliance, remove the accessory used and clean the appliance and accessories.

RinoFlux: To clean the nose: open the sterile vial by turning the butterfly closure; tilt the head to the left, in the case of a child, place it on its side, supporting the head with the hand, gently place the mouth of the vial on the upper nostril and irrigate abundantly with the solution. Repeat with the other nostril. Wait a few moments for the solution to work. Remove secretions with a tissue, in the case of a child, lift it and remove secretions with a tissue or nasal aspirator. Use as often as necessary or, in any case, according to the doctor's instructions.
- In aerosol therapy: Open the sterile vial by turning the butterfly closure. Open the aerosol bottle by turning it counterclockwise. Enter the desired amount of solution. Close the aerosol bottle by turning it clockwise and attach the other necessary accessories (connecting tube, mask or mouthpiece). Start the application.

Warnings

AirStylo: Device intended for aerosol therapy. Always follow your doctor's instructions on the type of drug to use and the dosage, frequency and duration of therapy. Any use other than that for which the appliance is intended is to be considered improper and therefore dangerous.
The device may cease to function in the event of a power failure, due to sudden failures or adverse conditions of any kind, therefore it is advisable to have an alternative device or medicine available (agreed with your doctor) to use in cases similar.
After unpacking the appliance, make sure that it is intact, without any visible damage that may have occurred during transport. If in doubt, do not use the appliance and contact the Technical Assistance Center.
Do not connect or disconnect the AC / DC mains adapter and / or touch the plug (metal part) of the AC / DC mains adapter with wet hands.
Important note: To connect the appliance to the mains, first connect the power plug to the appliance's power socket and only then connect the plug of the AC / DC mains adapter to the mains socket. To disconnect the appliance from the mains, first disconnect the plug of the AC / DC mains adapter from the mains socket and only then disconnect the power plug from the mains socket of the appliance.
Packaging elements (bags, boxes, etc.) are potential sources of danger and must be kept out of the reach of children. Keep the device out of the reach of children, pets and people with impaired cognition.
In case of incompatibility between the plug of the AC / DC mains adapter supplied and the electric socket, use certified adapters, as long as the regulations in force in the country of use allow it. To prevent overheating and damage to the compressor, the appliance must be turned off for at least 30 minutes every 10 minutes of continuous operation. Warning: resuming use of the appliance before 30 minutes have elapsed could cause excessive overheating of the motor with consequent intervention of the appliance's thermal protection device.
To ensure correct operation of the appliance, make sure that the filter is dry. The filter cover can be removed with the aid of a flat blade tool. Keep the filter cover and filter out of the reach of children as these are small parts that could be swallowed with a potential choking hazard.
Do not use the device in the presence of nitrous oxide, oxygen or flammable anesthetic mixture with air.
Do not use with pentamidine, as this aerosol therapy device is not approved for use with that drug.
Switch off the device and disconnect the AC / DC adapter from the mains after each use and / or before adding any other medication. Do not fill the ampoule beyond the maximum level indicated (5 ml) and check that all components are assembled correctly.
Keep the appliance, the AC / DC adapter and the power cord away from hot surfaces.
Do not use the appliance while bathing or showering or in a humid environment or near tubs, sinks, sinks or in any other condition with liquids that could come into contact with the appliance. Never touch the appliance and the AC / DC mains adapter with wet or damp hands. Do not drop or immerse the appliance in water or other liquids. Should this occur, disconnect the plug immediately, stop using the appliance and contact the Technical Assistance Center.
Do not use the appliance if you feel drowsy or drowsy.
Adequate adult supervision is required if the appliance is used by children or persons with reduced physical or cognitive abilities. Children must be supervised by an adult at all times to prevent them from playing with the appliance. The appliance contains small parts that could be swallowed and the power cord of the AC / DC mains adapter constitutes a strangulation hazard.
Do not use plugs or accessories not recommended by the manufacturer.
Make sure that the appliance is placed on flat and stable surfaces during use, to prevent it from tipping over. The user can fix the device to a flat, smooth and stable surface by hooking the suction cup located on the lower part of the device. After use, the suction cup can be easily released from the surface by lifting the tab. During use, there should be no objects on the surface that could obstruct the correct flow of air.
Do not obstruct the holes in the filter cover located on the back of the appliance with cloths or other items, as the motor could overheat and reduce the performance of the appliance. Do not pour liquids on the appliance, especially on the filter cover, as this could lead to unwanted expulsion / nebulisation of the liquids.
Before carrying out any cleaning or maintenance operations on the appliance, disconnect the AC / DC mains adapter from the mains by pulling the plug from the socket.
Dispose of the appliance and the AC / DC mains adapter in accordance with the regulations in force. It is also recommended to eliminate parts of the appliance that could pose a potential danger, especially for children.
The appliance and the AC / DC mains adapter must no longer be used if, following a fall, any sign of damage or deterioration is found on any of its components. If in doubt, do not use the appliance or the AC / DC mains adapter and contact the Technical Assistance Center.
In case of breakdown and / or malfunction of the appliance, switch it off immediately and unplug the AC / DC mains adapter from the mains socket, then contact the Service Center only. The AC / DC mains adapter can only be replaced by technicians.
The AC / DC mains adapter is the element that separates the appliance from the electrical mains. During use, to disconnect the set from the mains, switch it off and disconnect the plug of the AC / DC mains adapter from the mains socket. The plug of the AC / DC mains adapter must be connected to an easily accessible electrical socket so that the appliance can be easily disconnected from the mains. Do not attempt to open, repair or tamper with the appliance and / or the AC / DC mains adapter.

RinoFlux: For external use, not injectable.
Sterile product only if the package is intact and undamaged.
Keep the instructions until complete use of the product.

AirStylo : Validity for intact packaging: 60 months.

RinoFlux : Store in a cool and dry place, do not expose to sources of light and heat.
