Food supplement based on a mixture of plant extracts and phytosterols to support the well-being and functionality of the prostata.
Phytosterols
Phytosterols (beta sitosterols, beta sitostenols, campesterols and campestenols) are found in abundance in fruits and vegetables and have evident antioxidant capacities.
Serenoa repens
The extract of Serenoa repens is capable of inhibiting the activity of 5-alpha-reductase by decreasing the symptoms of benign prostatic hypertrophy (BPH) allowing better prophylaxis and a better treatment of symptoms related to prostatic hypertrophy.
Pinus species
The extract contained in Prostamed Plex is guaranteed in great purity (phytosterols> 95%, with a beta sitosterol titer> 75%) and constant quality. It is used in the treatment of prostate diseases.
Camelia sinensis
Rich in polyphenols.
Scutellaria
It has been shown that the scutellaria extract contains flavonoids capable of inhibiting the proliferation of some cell lines; the presence of the flavonoid baicalin was found in the scutellaria extract.
Urtica dioica
The antiproliferative effect of dioecious urtic acid, demonstrated both in in vitro models and in in vivo models, indicates the presence in the extract of compounds having no biological activity. The aqueous extract obtained from the leaves of Urtica dioica is able to significantly inhibit the activity of Adenosine deaminase in the tissues of the prostate, and this could represent one of the mechanisms through which Urtica dioica improves hypertrophy.
Zingiber officinalis
Zingiber officinalis or ginger contains an ingredient, 6-Gingerol, which possesses antibacterial, anti-inflammatory activities.
Lycopene
Current research is showing that the antioxidant power of lycopene confers protection against the oxidation of cholesterol.
Quercetin
Various flavonoids, including quercetin, have been shown to have significant preventive activities in case of cellular alterations. This result suggests that quercetin may synergize with finasteride in activating or blocking the androgen-independent pathways that regulate the growth and activity of prostatic epithelial cells.
It does not contain gluten suitable for vegans and vegetarians.

How to use
Take 1 to 3 capsules per day, according to directions.
It is advisable to take the capsules on an empty stomach, at least two hours before or after meals and away from taking other supplements or medications.

Do not exceed the recommended daily dose.
