Property

Vegetable protein sources do not bring cholesterol and are characterized by very low levels of saturated fats: the best known and most used of them is soy , potentially allergenic and also rich in phytoestrogens (which can reach high levels when used as the main protein source).
Rice grains contain about 7% of proteins, which are extracted through humid grinding to facilitate separation from starch and other macronutrients present. According to FAO data, these are cereal proteins with the highest biological value, that is, they are characterized by a high propensity to be assimilated and transformed by the body. The high protein content (85%) makes the raw material used comparable to soy and whey for amino acid composition and concentration of essential amino acids.
The product aminogram is completed by the combination with proteins extracted from hemp seeds , characterized by high bioavailability and high biological value given the presence of all nine essential amino acids, with a particularly high quantity of arginine. Hemp seeds also represent a precious source of minerals (phosphorus, magnesium, calcium and iron), they contain omega 3 and omega 6 in the ideal 3: 1 ratio and provide a higher fiber content than other plant sources.
Spirulina is a blue-green freshwater algae with a high concentration of nutrients which makes it an ideal food for people of all ages and with different lifestyles. Its restorative power depends on the high concentration of vitamins (especially A, B, beta-carotene, D, K, E), minerals (iron, potassium, magnesium, selenium, calcium) and an important protein content (60-70 g / 100g ) with highly bioavailable amino acids. In particular, it provides the amino acid Phenylalanine, useful for controlling the sense of hunger. Unlike the other seaweeds, it does not provide significant quantities of salt and iodine and instead contains small quantities of bicarbonates indicated to restore the acid-base balance of the tissues.
B vitamins are essential for staying well and feeling energetic, as they intervene as cofactors in the metabolism of all macronutrients (especially proteins and glycogen). They regulate the synthesis and activity of steroid hormones, vitamin D and some neurotransmitters, with direct effects on psychological function, mental performance and physiological activity of the nervous system. They are involved in the regulation of cell division, in particular in the formation of red blood cells with a consequent reduction in the sense of fatigue.
Carobs are characterized by a chocolate-like aroma that goes perfectly with that of coffee. Furthermore, they enhance the sweetness of the product without requiring the addition of refined sugars. They have interesting nutritional values, with a low lipid content in the face of a rich variety of mineral salts (in particular iron, magnesium, potassium, copper, manganese, phosphorus, calcium) with vitamins E and D. They are naturally rich in insoluble fibers which they increase the sense of satiety and act as a prebiotic, supporting the functions of the intestinal bacterial flora.

How to use

It is advisable to dissolve 3 scoops of product (equal to 21 g) in 250 ml of water, stirring vigorously. The product can be dissolved in milk, even vegetable, to make it more delicious and substantial. If you want to use the product as a substitute meal, it is advisable to combine it with a salad or fruit. Sportsmen can take the product at least 30 minutes before physical effort for a greater energy charge, or after physical activity to rebalance the level of amino acids.
