Medical device for topical use in cream for the treatment and prevention of dermatological manifestations of psoriasis, in particular chronic xerosis and cutaneous hyperkeratosis. The 20% urea, suitably stabilized, acts as a superficial skin exfoliant.
Daily skin application reduces hyperkeratosis, chronic xerosis, alleviating the erythema and itching related to them and improving the general condition of the skin with less predisposition to relapses. It is an ideal maintenance treatment, also as an adjuvant to drug therapy. The excellent biocompatibility of the preparation makes it suitable for prolonged use over time and for all ages.

Composition

Urea 20%, gluconolactone, lactic acid, palmitoyl proline sodium salt, emulsifiers, gelling agents, stabilizers, demineralized water qs 100.

Intended use

Treatment and prevention of chronic xerosis and cutaneous hyperkeratosis.

Directions for use and warnings

Once or twice a day, after daily hygiene, on the affected skin areas by massaging lightly until absorbed.
Wash your hands before and after application. Do not use other topical products concomitantly unless advised by a doctor or pharmacist. Do not apply to lesions of any other nature or to mucous membranes. Avoid touching the eyes immediately after application; in case of accidental contact, rinse thoroughly. Do not use in case of known allergies to the components. Keep out of reach of children. Do not expose to the sun and frost. Do not expose to temperatures exceeding 30 ° C.

Do not use after the expiration date. Do not use if primary container is damaged. For external use only.

Side effects

The topical use of urea, even in high percentages, has rare and mild side effects (skin rashes, itching, irritation and allergic contact dermatitis). In case of adverse reactions such as persistent burning, blisters, redness, discontinue use and consult your doctor.
