Active principles

Rosmarinic acid, oleanolic acid, betulinic acid, ursolic acid, triterpenoids, flavonoids, tannins, and sulfur polysaccharides.

Internal use (hydroalcoholic solution)

It has antibacterial, antipyretic, antiseptic, antispasmodic, hypotensive, astringent, febrifuge, vermifuge, diuretic, stomachic, antioxidant, anti-inflammatory, antiviral and immunomodulating properties.

Indications

Febrile states, diarrhea, inflammation in general, stimulation of the immune system.

Dosage

30 drops in a little water three times a day.

Note

In external use, prunella is useful for the prevention and treatment of herpes simplex (types 1 and 2), for favoring the healing of wounds, sores and burns and against redness of the mucous membranes of the mouth, skin and intimate parts .
