Pulse Oximeter Shedir Pharma Finger Pulse Oximeter

The pulse oximeter, based entirely on digital technology, is intended for the non-invasive measurement of the control of the functional oxygen saturation of arterial hemoglobin (SpO2).
It can be used to measure human hemoglobin saturation and heart rate through the finger.
The product is suitable for home use, hospital use (including clinical use in internal medicine / surgery, anesthesia, pediatrics, intensive care, etc.), medical and sports organizations and more.

How to use

Do not open or attempt to repair the pulse oximeter as this will affect proper operation.
Do not use the pill oximeter in situations where alarms are required. The device is not equipped with alarms.
The pulse oximeter shows a temporary measurement value each time, but cannot be used for continuous monitoring.
In people suffering from circulation disorders, prolonged use of the pulse oximeter can be painful. Do not use the pulse oximeter for more than 2 hours per finger.
Insert one of your fingers into the rubber hole of the pulse oximeter (make sure the finger is in the correct position, ie as far as it will go) with the nail surface facing up, then release the clamp.
To avoid distorting the measurement result, avoid using the pulse oximeter near strong light sources (e.g. fluorescent lamps or direct sunlight).

Reasons for possible interference

Do not use the pulse oximeter in a magnetic resonance or axial tomography environment.
When measuring arm pressure with cuff.
Presence of arterial catheter or intravascular line, in patients with hypotension, severe vasoconstriction, with severe anemia or hypothermia, in the presence of cardiac arrest or in shock.
The presence of nail polish or false nails can cause inaccurate readings.

Parameter setting

Press the power key (> 0.5s), the oximeter will enter the parameter setting. There are two submenus to choose: when the '*' signal is displayed in 'Audio setting', press the button (> 0.5s) and enter the sound setting menu, repeatedly press the button, shifting the signal ' * 'to the item you want to select and press the button to set the desired value. Select '+' or '-' to increase or decrease the number of your chosen setting. When the '*' signal is displayed on 'Alm Setup', press the button (> 0.5s) and enter the alarms setup menu. Press the button to activate / deactivate the alarm and buzzer. When the '*' signal is displayed on the 'Restore' item, press the button (> 0.5s) and all settings will return to the default settings.

Cleaning and disinfection

Caution

Do not sterilize the high pressure pulse oximeter. Under no circumstances should the pulse oximeter be immersed in water, as it could infiltrate moisture and damage it.
Turn off the power and take out the batteries before cleaning the device. Keep the external surface of the device clean and free of dust and dirt. Clean the exterior surface (including OLED screen) with a soft dry cloth. Use 75% medical alcohol to clean the surface and use a dry, low alcohol fabric to prevent it from permeating into the device.

Caution

Do not use aggressive solvents. For example, acetone.
Do not use abrasive material.
Avoid any liquid coming into contact with the device and do not immerse any of the device components in any liquid.
Avoid spilling liquids on the device when cleaning.
Do not leave detergent residues on the surface of the device.

Maintenance

Replace the batteries promptly when the low battery indicator lights up on the display. Clean the surface of the pulse oximeter before using it in patient diagnosis.
Remove the batteries inside the battery compartment if the pulse oximeter will not be used for a long time.
It is best to store the product in a place where the ambient temperature is between -10 and 40 ° C and the humidity is between 10% - 80%.
Periodically inspect the device to ensure that there is no obvious damage affecting its safety and performance.
Do not use the product in the presence of flammable substances or at temperatures and humidity above or below those recommended.

Warnings

Danger of explosion. Do not use the pulse oximeter in the vicinity of flammable or explosive gas mixtures.
Do not throw batteries into fire.
Explosion risk.
Do not attempt to recharge normal non-rechargeable batteries, liquid may leak and cause a fire or even explode. If the battery leaks, wear protective gloves and clean the battery compartment with a dry cloth.
Keep the operating environment free from dust, vibration, corrosive or flammable materials, and extreme temperatures and humidity.
Do not operate the unit if it is damp or wet due to condensation or splashing.
Avoid using the equipment immediately after moving it from a cold environment to a warm and humid place.
