Essential oil

GENERAL INDICATIONS

Cypress essential oil should be taken orally only on medical prescription. It should not be applied pure on the skin.

Do not use:

• in pregnant or breastfeeding women,
• in children under the age of three,
• in subjects allergic to one of the components (limonene, linalool),
• in asthmatics, during the first use, without the advice of an allergist,
• in subjects with hormone-dependent cancer (uterus, ovary, breast, prostate).

METHOD OF USE

Very versatile, anti-infective and antibacterial, cypress essential oil is an excellent antitussive. Phlebotonic par excellence, it improves circulation in the presence of varicose veins and hemorrhoids. Venous, lymphatic, prostatic and uterine decongestant, it fights menstrual pain or premenstrual syndrome (hyperestrogenia) and edema. It is an excellent anti-cellulite weapon. It also balances the body in case of fatigue or asthenia and regulates sweating. In Corsica once the leaves were used in the form of poultices on wounds and pancakes were prepared against worms.

Fat hair

Mix 1 drop of cypress essential oil and 2 drops of lemon essential oil in the shampoo dose.

Hoarseness - Dry cough

Put 2 drops of cypress essential oil on a neutral tablet, a sugar or a spoonful of honey. Take the preparation 3-4 times a day for 3-4 days.

Congestion of any kind

Mix 3 drops of cypress essential oil with 10 drops of calophyll vegetable oil 2-3 times a day, always massaging from the bottom to the top of the body.

CHEMICAL FORMULA

Cypress essential oil is mainly composed of monoterpenes (delta-3-carene, pinenes) and some sesquiterpenes (about 10%). Cedrol is present in a percentage from 0.8% to 1%.
