Q-White what it is

Q-White is a whitening cream useful for the treatment of hyperchromia and skin spots.

When using Q-White

This hyperchromic whitening cream treatment in gel emulsion for skin blemishes is indicated for:

  • Melasma
  • Sun spots
  • Hormonal spots
  • Spots from post-operative inflammation (surgery, laser, cryo, ablations, hair removal, acne, ...)

How to act on Q-White skin blemishes

The synergy of the 3 active ingredients of Q White (Vitamin C, Niacinamide (Vitamin B3), Thioctic Acid (Alfalipoic)) is particularly effective on inflammation and oxidation of the skin which are the main causes of Skin Spots (or Hyperpigmentation).

These states "excite" the melanocytes (skin cells responsible for the production of melanin) causing a significant increase in melanin released into the skin.

Functions of the active ingredients contained in Q-White

  • Vitamin C : renowned anti-inflammatory and anti-oxidant agent. It also acts as a depigmenter, stimulates the production of collagen, helps normalize the production of melanin and inhibits the hyperactivity of melanocytes, contributes to the extraction of the ferrino ion (responsible for post traumatic hyperpigmentation)
  • Niacinamide (Vitamin B3) : antioxidant agent, together with vitamin C helps to normalize the production of melanin, inhibits the hyper-reactivity of melanocytes, prevents the formation and migration of melanosomes.
  • Thioctic Acid (Alpha Lipoic) : has the main function of anti-oxidant and support for the endogenous regeneration of Vitamin C and glutathione. A real "scavenger" of free radicals.

The synergistic action of the active ingredients is further enhanced by sodium dextrane sulphate (dextran) which acts as an accelerator and facilitator for the transdermal penetration of vitamins C and B3.

Indications on the use of Q-White

Q-White is therefore particularly suitable for:

  • Melasma: face (dark spots on the face) but also nipples and genitals. The etiology has not yet been clearly defined but exposure to the sun could trigger the onset of disturbance (we recommend preventing this risk with the use of creams containing sunscreens);
  • Sunspots;
  • Post-inflammatory hyperpigmentation (pih) that can arise after invasive treatments: Peeling; Cryo; Laser; Tattoos; Traumatic waxing;
  • Dark circles: thinning of the epidermis such that any inflammation or vasodilation in the area is highlighted;
  • Hormonal hyperchromia;
  • Tanning bed freckles.

Product efficacy of the Q-White product

The treatment will produce a concrete result after about 4 weeks of use (equivalent to an average cycle of cell renewal).
Considering the depigmenting effect of Vitamin C it is suggested to apply the product directly on the stain.
In case of resistance to treatment, a case of keratinization (stratification of cells at the superficial level of the skin) is hypothesized, requiring a more aggressive intervention under medical supervision (eg laser).

The result and timing may vary from person to person.

The Product has been subjected to evaluation by Clinical Dermatology (University of Trieste).
