RAMIN_UP POWDER DEUTERA - Food for special medical purposes in powder without gluten and lactose

RAMIN_UP is a powdered food for special medical purposes, indicated for the dietary management of patients with increased need for branched chain amino acids such as in liver disease (liver failure, cirrhosis, hepatic encephalopathy).

Characteristics

Powdered branched chain amino acid form with thiamine and vitamin B6 with sugars and sweeteners. The product is gluten and lactose free.

Ingrediants

L-leucine, L-valine, L-isoleucine, acidifier: citric acid; sucrose, flavors, stabilizers: sucrose esters of fatty acids, hydroxy-propyl-methylcellulose; concentrated lemon juice powder, trehalose *, sweeteners: sucralose, acesulfame K; pyridoxine hydrochloride (vitamin B6), thiamine hydrochloride (vitamin B1), coloring: carotenes. * Trehalose is a source of glucose.

Doses and methods of use

The dose is individual and is defined by the doctor according to the different needs of the patient. As a guideline we recommend a sachet - equal to 5 g of branched amino acids - 2-3 times a day. Take the product immediately after preparation or within 24 hours if the preparation is stored in the refrigerator.

Preparation

Oral use: pour the contents of one sachet into a dry glass, add 150 ml of cold water and mix well until completely dissolved.
Use by probe: The contents of a sachet must be dissolved carefully in 150 ml of water at room temperature or according to the doctor's instructions. Before and after administration, wash the tube with 40-50 ml of water. Do not combine the product in the bag directly with other enteral feeding formulas.
It is recommended to prepare the product at the time of use.

Important warnings

The product must be used under the direction and under medical supervision. It is not suitable for use as a sole source of nutrition and should not be administered parenterally.

Store in a cool, dry place at room temperature. The minimum storage term refers to the product correctly stored in an unopened package.
