Homeopathic medicine

Homeopathic remedy indicated in case of sciatica. It is mainly indicated for the osteo-articular system: sciatica and sciatica resulting from radicular syndrome from herniated intervertebral disc. Paresthesia and tingling of the lower limbs. Crural neuralgia.

Composition:

Aconite: colds caused by cold and dry air. Tingling and pain in the lower limbs. Paresthesias.

Arsenicum album: burning pains that intensify in the night and that improve with heat.

Colocynthis: intense pain that gets worse with the slightest movement, with cold and with contact. Sensation of highly algogenic stretch along the sciatic nerve.

Gnaphalium polycephalum, Pseudognaphalium Obtus: root pain accompanied by tingling and other paresthesias. Relief with sitting position.

Magnesium Phosphoricum: night pains that improve with heat or pressure.

Aconitum D 4, Gnaphalium polycephalum D 4, Arsenicum album D 30, Magnesium phosphoricum D 8, Colocynthis D 4.

Dosage:

As an initial therapy we usually recommend 1 tablet, to be left to dissolve under the tongue, 4-6 times a day.

After 2-3 weeks reduce to 2-3 times a day.
