Powder for oral solution

Symptomatic treatment of constipation. Acts within 24-72 hours. Macrogol is a water-soluble inert polymer with a high molecular weight that has the ability to bind to the water used for intake by retaining it in the faeces. It determines a rehydration and softening of the fecal mass and facilitates its evacuation. It accelerates intestinal transit by promoting peristalsis, counteracting constipation and preventing the formation of fecal impacts. It is not absorbed or metabolized in the gastrointestinal tract and does not lead to hydro-electrical imbalances when taken with the indicated dose of liquid.

How to use

Suitable for adults and children over 12 years of age. 1 to 4 sachets per day. The dose should be increased or decreased, depending on the individual response to treatment, to allow for smooth evacuation of soft stools. The maximum dose needed does not normally exceed 4 sachets per day. Dissolve the powder in water or other liquid (125ml per sachet) and take immediately. It is advisable to administer the product in the morning if the minimum dose is to be taken (1 sachet per day). For larger doses divide the intake between morning and evening. If you do not notice any improvement after 7 days of treatment, consult your doctor.

Warnings

Keep out of reach of children. Administration to children should be carried out under the direct supervision of an adult. Consult your doctor before use in pregnancy and lactation. Do not use after the expiry date indicated on the package. Do not use if package is opened or damaged. The product can reduce the residence time in the intestine and therefore the absorption of medicinal products for oral use. It is therefore advisable to consult your doctor in case of simultaneous intake of medicinal products for oral use, which must, in any case, be administered at a distance of at least 2 hours. In case of unwanted reactions, stop the treatment and consult your doctor.

Store in a cool, dry place, away from light and away from heat sources. The expiry date refers to the correctly stored product.
Validity intact packaging: 36 months.
