Indicated for calming particularly agitated and stressed animals to reduce motion sickness.

Motion sickness or "transport sickness" is a clinical syndrome that occurs in predisposed animals when they are on means of transport and undergo continuous variations in
position due to motion. Symptoms are: nausea, vomiting, dizziness, drooling (increased saliva production).
The best known forms of motion sickness are seasickness, motion sickness and air sickness.
Agitation, stress, anxiety are symptoms more and more frequently detectable in pets. There are various causes that can lead to these annoying manifestations.
Fear, phobia of loud noises (thunderstorms, firecrackers, household appliances) Eliminatory disturbances (inappropriate deletions, markings). Stress from hospitalization or temporary foster care. Post-operative stress. Stress due to a change in the family context (births, divorces, bereavement, removals). Stress from veterinary visits, exhibitions, grooming or baths. "Adoption" stress of the puppy and / or adult, cohabitation stress, stress from closed environments.

COMPOSITION

Passiflora extract boasts sedative properties of the nervous system, tranquilizers, anxiolytics, antispasmodic, curative of insomnia and hysteria; promotes physiological sleep and daytime activity without dulling. Among the chemical elements of Passionflower you can find a considerable amount of compounds such as flavonoids, maltol, alkaloids (harmine, armol, harmaline, armano, armalol), oxycoumarin, sterols, amino acids, fatty and organic acids . The behavior of Passionflower is similar to that of traditional sedatives (bromides and chloral hydrate) and it is thought that this is provided with receptors common to benzodiozepines. It relaxes the smooth muscle tissue of the digestive system, thus proving to be a valid antispasmodic.
Antistress remedy and natural tranquilizer of choice, Tilia Tomentosa acting simultaneously both on the sleep center, on the cortico-hypothalamic axis and on the cross-linked substance, causes the serotonin rate to rise. It develops a general anxiolytic, sedative, antispasmodic and tranquilizing action. It is also able to relieve hypermotility disorders, gas colic, irritable bowel and spastic-colitis.
Thanks to the action of the active substances (isovalerianate and valeropotriates), Valerian exerts a double mechanism of action, sedative on the one hand and slowing down on the other hand against the degradation of GABA, which performs the function of fighting stress. Overall it acts as a calming agent in some forms of agitation and is able to achieve a sedative effect without depressing the ability to concentrate and the creative faculties.

Anti-kinetosic phytotherapeutic complex:

• Icelandic Lichen is an excellent remedy for nausea, useful as an adjunct in the treatment of continued vomiting, and in motion sickness. Being rich in mucilage, it also has a soothing effect on irritated intestinal walls.
• Numerous clinical studies have been carried out on Zingiber Officinalis to verify its effective property in countering nausea and vomiting, giving satisfactory and interesting results, and it has always been used thanks to its antiemetic properties to prevent motion sickness or to reduce the severity of symptoms. Among its chemical compounds are monoterpenes, sesquiterpenes and gingerols. The antiemetic action would contribute to an improvement in gastrointestinal motility both in fasting and fed conditions.

HOW TO USE

Administer orally or mixed in food every 6-8-12 hours according to the case and the severity of the symptoms.
For dogs and cats up to 5 kg of body weight: 5 drops; from 5 to 10 kg of body weight: 10 drops.
For dogs weighing more than 10 kg: 0.5 g or 10 drops, every 10 kg up to a maximum of 800 drops.
Shake well before each administration.
