Mode of action

The modes of action are illustrated by the function of the main components:

Lactium®

It is a milk protein hydrolyzate that contains a bioactive decapeptide: alpha-casezepine.

The presence of this peptide allows RILASSANDO® to have a high affinity for some CNS receptors called GABA-A receptors; this mechanism of action allows to stimulate the activity of the neurotransmitter GABA capable of inhibiting anxiety and the response to stress, without side effects.

Lactium® allows you to prevent and regulate the symptoms caused by stress: sleep disturbances, anxiety and mood swings.

Magnesium

Magnesium stimulates nerve function, favoring the transmission of impulses: at the intracellular level, it activates hexokinase, an enzyme that converts glucose into glucose-6-phosphate, the first step in glycolysis, a process through which sugars are broken down to produce energy needed by all cells, especially nerve and muscle cells which consume a large amount of it.

This precious mineral, among the many functions performed, stimulates the production of serotonin, an endorphin that acts on specific receptors in the brain and which has an analgesic, antidepressant and mood stabilizing action. Its deficiency can cause nervousness, anxiety, nervous tics and insomnia.

The advanced technology of transporting magnesium into liposomes (ULTRAMAG®) used in the formulation of RILASSANDO® ensures its high bioavailability and adequate supply.

Vitamins of group B

Vitamin B1: it is such an important component for the health of our nervous system that it is familiarly called "the vitamin of morale". It also helps to have greater concentration and mental clarity, factors which, in case of stress, are altered.

Vitamin B2: Riboflavin is also associated with stress and disorders of the nervous system, among other things. In particular, its deficiency can manifest itself with tension, nervousness, tremor, dizziness and fatigue.

Vitamin B12: Vitamin B12 is especially important in case of stress associated with depression. Its effect is enhanced when taken together with the other B vitamins.

Folic acid

Insufficient folic acid intake can cause excessive stress, tension, irritability, fatigue and a lack of memory.

Recommended doses / method of use

It is recommended to take 1-2 tablets a day spaced throughout the day, on an empty stomach and at least half an hour before protein meals.

The simultaneous or close intake of carbohydrates does not cause interference in the absorption of Lactium
