Resource is the line designed by Nestlé Health Science to meet the needs of people with special needs for dietary supplements.

Resource Senior Activ is a drink, ready to drink distributed in 4 vials of 200 ml and has a special high-calorie and high-protein formulation, aimed at the food sustenance of the elderly who, due to an insufficient intake through regular nutrition, are at risk of malnutrition or bone decalcification.

Available in Vanilla and Strawberry-Biscuit flavors, this food has a complete nutritional profile, capable of effectively supporting a weakened organism and integrating an excellent amount of calcium and Vitamin D3. In particular, a bottle of Resource Senior Activ covers the daily requirement of vitamin D3 established by the LARN. It also provides Omega 3 fatty acids and important antioxidants such as Zinc, Selenium, Vitamin C and E, as well as a mix of prebiotic fibers, useful for promoting regular intestinal transit.

One bottle provides a total of 300 calories, divided into 20 grams of protein, 24 grams of carbohydrates and 13 grams of fat. It is recommended to take 1-2 bottles per day as a supplement to the daily diet, however this food can be used in variable quantities as the sole nutritional source, upon medical indication. Each vial is equipped with a practical resealable cap, a format that makes it practical and convenient to administer.

Information and advice for use

Resource Senior Activ Free is gluten-free and has a clinically irrelevant amount of lactose. Rich in the following nutrients, which the elderly particularly need: Vitamin D3: 12.6 µg per 200 ml, Calcium: 480 mg per 200 ml, Omega 3 fatty acids, EPA and DHA, Antioxidants: Zinc, Selenium, Vit . C, Vit. E, Mix of prebiotic fibers (FOS & Inulin) to promote intestinal regularity.

It can be used as a sole source of nutrition, according to the doctor's advice, or as a nutritional supplement. It can be used from 6 years onwards.

Preferably use cold. Store in a dry place away from heat sources. The opened bottle must be closed, stored in the refrigerator and used within 24 hours. The product used outside its packaging must be

1-2 bottles per day as a dietary supplement, or as per medical recommendation if used as the sole source of nutrition.
