Topical silicone gel indicated for the treatment and prevention of scar formation on newly healed wounds and to reduce raised scars.

What is Revée® Scar Gel used for? It is indicated for the treatment and prevention of hypertrophic or keloid scars caused by a burn, surgery or trauma after complete wound healing and in the presence of an intact / closed skin surface. It is also used for immature red scars in relief during active healing.

What is Revée® Scar Gel ? It is a transparent and odorless gel of 100% medical silicone which, by treating scars due to surgery, burns and trauma, dries very quickly and helps to maintain normal skin hydration. Revée® Scar Gel has been shown to flatten, soften and smooth scars, relieve pain, itching and related discomfort, as well as lessen the redness associated with scar tissue. Revée® Scar Gel is easily applicable on all skin surfaces, including face, joints and parts of the body stressed by movement and dries quickly, forming a transparent "film" on which it is then possible to apply sunscreen without compromising its effectiveness.

Instructions for use and warnings

Wash the affected area and pat dry, as Revee® Scar Gel should only be applied to dry, clean skin.
Carefully spread a small amount of gel on the scar without massaging. If you apply too much of the product, it should be gently wiped off with a cloth to prevent your clothing from staining.
After Revée® Scar Gel has dried, make-up, cosmetics or sunscreen can be applied
Apply twice a day, morning and evening for at least 2/3 months. In case of difficult scars, treatment may need to be continued

When should Revée® Scar Gel not be used ?

Revée® Scar Gel should not be applied to open healing wounds or unhealed burns.
Revée® Scar Gel should not be applied in contact with mucous membranes or in areas close to the eyes.
Revee® Scar Gel should not be applied to skin treated with other medicinal products and other topical products without medical advice.
Revée® Scar Gel should not be used in the presence of dermatological conditions without the advice of your doctor or pharmacist

Are there possible side effects of Revée® Scar Gel ?

Rarely, the gel can cause redness, pain or skin irritation.
In case of reactions, discontinue use of the product.

How should Revée® Scar Gel be stored ?

Revee Scar Gel must be stored at room temperature (not higher than 25 °)
