Treatment of acute and chronic-recurrent rheumatic diseases, typically worsened by cold-damp weather and immobility, and improved by movement. Treatment of acute and chronic lumbosciatica.

Homeopathic medicine indicated in case of neuralgia, rheumatism of soft tissues, arthritic and intervertebral disorders characterized above all by neuralgic rheumatic problems that worsen with cold and improve with movement. It is indicated in case of: rheumatism and neuralgia of various origin and localization, eg low back pain, sciatica, osteochondrosis, intervertebral disc disorders, neuralgia of the arm, intercostal neuralgia, occipital neuralgia, polyarthritis, coxitis, humeroscapular periarthritis, rheumatism soft, periostitis, shingles.

• Causticum : chronic, rheumatic, arthritic disorders; shooting pains (such as straining) of the muscles and tendons.
• Colchicum : rheumatism of the muscles and joints; spinal pain; worsening especially in cold weather.
• Colocynthis : stinging, fulminating pains, regardless of the state of motion or rest; neuralgia, especially sciatic; muscles and tendons seem too short.
• Ferrum metallicum : shoulder and arm syndrome, especially in the right side; lumbago; joint pain in the hip and tibia; secondary anemia; migraine.
• Lithium benzoicum : all rheumatic-gouty forms; uric diathesis.
• Rhus toxicodendron: eeumatism and neuralgia that worsen with cold-wet weather in a state of rest and improve with movement and hot and dry weather, eg arm and inter-costal neuralgia, sciatic neuralgia; pains in the limbs.
• Spiraea ulmaria : muscle and joint rheumatism; epicondylitis ("tennis arm").
• Gnaphalium polycephalum : sciatic neuralgia with paresthesia and dense; lumbago with feeling of numbness in the lower back.

How to use

Adults: in acute disorders, inject 1-2 ml up to 3 times a day at the subcutaneous, venous or intramuscular level, or orally, otherwise 1 ampoule 1 to 3 times a week.

Not to be administered during pregnancy and breastfeeding.

The effectiveness of a homeopathic preparation can be adversely affected by the intake of spicy foods, products containing mint and the use of exciting substances.
