How to use : Apply morning and / or evening to cleansed face

Sebum-regulating cream for acneic and oily skin based on azelaic acid, salicylic acid, Chamomile, Serenoa serrulata, Vitamin E, Vitamin A, Tea Tree oil, Bisabolol, Bio-sulfur and Kaolin useful as a purifying, soothing, smoothing treatment with reduction of pores and effect mattifying.

Composition

Azelaic acid
It has anti-acne activity deriving from its bacteriostatic and bactericidal capacity which is expressed against microorganisms that settle the superficial layers of the epidermis, causing skin lesions characteristic of acne vulgaris. It also normalizes the keratinization processes and leads to a reduction in the content of free fatty acids in the lipids of the skin surface. This characteristic contributes to enhancing its antiacneic action and
anticomedogenic.

Salicylic acid
Active ingredient with high keratolytic activity, as it is able to selectively break the keratin protein chain, abundantly present in corneocytes. At the cutaneous level, salicylic acid decreases the cohesive forces of the corneocytes. In this way the desquamation of hyperpigmented keratinocytes is favored, at the same time stimulating cell renewal. The final effect promoted by salicylic acid is surprising: the “new” keratinocytes, being less rich in melanic pigment, give the skin a uniform, smooth and luminous appearance. It is also used for its bacteriostatic and soothing properties. In fact, it quickly penetrates into inflamed lesions by exercising these functions, without causing obvious irritation phenomena.

Chamomile
Equipped with soothing, emollient, protective and purifying capabilities, it is used as an active ingredient, in particular in creams for delicate and very sensitive skin, in those that act as a shield against atmospheric agents, in products for skin affected by couperose and in specific products for children's skin.

Serenoa serrulata
It has antiandrogenic properties, which it carries out both through a direct action on the dihydrotestosterone receptors, and indirectly, by inhibiting the 5-alpha-reductase enzyme. If dihydrotestosterone is produced in excess, due to its strong androgenic power, it favors the appearance of acne.

Vitamin E
It is the antioxidant vitamin par excellence, it protects the lipids of cell membranes, the main target of free radicals, from lipid peroxidation. Topically it has a moisturizing, anti-inflammatory and soothing action, reduces the formation of lipoperoxides and slows down photoaging.

Vitamin A
It inhibits the excessive production of sebum and keratin, effectively improving acne. The value of Vitamin A as an anti-acne treatment has been widely demonstrated.

Tea tree oil
It has antibacterial, healing, antifungal and anti-odorant properties, which make it one of the most effective substances that nature is able to offer us.

Bisabolol
It is a natural active ingredient present in various essential plants to which it confers anti-inflammatory properties. Thanks to its marked decongestant and soothing properties, it is widely used in cosmetics for the treatment of delicate, sensitive and couperose-prone skin.

Bio-sulfur
Powerful anti-inflammatory, disinfectant and detoxifier, it helps to resolve
skin problems such as: acne, psoriasis, seborrheic dermatitis, pimples and blackheads. It intensifies the activity of the hormone cortisol, dilates blood vessels by improving the supply of nutrients to the cells and eliminating dead cells. It also facilitates healing, making the skin softer and cleaner.

Kaolin
Sebum-normalizing and highly opacifying substance capable of making the sebum less fluid thanks to its adsorbing action. It improves the aesthetic appearance of the skin, making it visibly less shiny and greasy. Kaolin-based acne creams also have a good exfoliating action.
