Sebum regulating, anti-hair loss shampoo based on Salicylic acid, Bio-sulfur, Caffeine, Zinc pyrithione, Omega 3 and Polydocanol. Also indicated for the treatment of seborrheic dermatitis.

Composition

Salicylic acid
Active ingredient with high keratolytic activity, as it is able to selectively break the keratin protein chain, abundantly present in corneocytes. At the cutaneous level, salicylic acid decreases the cohesive forces of the corneocytes. In this way the desquamation of hyperpigmented keratinocytes is favored, at the same time stimulating cell renewal. The final effect promoted by salicylic acid is surprising: the “new” keratinocytes, being less rich in melanic pigment, give the skin a uniform, smooth and luminous appearance. It is also used for its bacteriostatic and soothing properties. In fact, it quickly penetrates into inflamed lesions by exercising these functions, without causing obvious irritation phenomena.

Bio-sulfur
Powerful anti-inflammatory, disinfectant and detoxifier, it is a valid aid for skin problems such as: oily scalp, acne, psoriasis, seborrheic dermatitis, pimples and blackheads. It intensifies the activity of the hormone cortisol, dilates blood vessels by improving the supply of nutrients to the cells and eliminating dead cells. It also facilitates healing.

Caffeine
Recent studies have shown the effectiveness of using caffeine to counteract hair loss. In fact, it has been observed that caffeine has a stimulating effect on the hair follicle, stopping hair loss. Its mechanism of action lies in its ability to reduce the effects of dihydrotestosterone (DHT), the hormone responsible for reducing the activity of hair follicles. It takes just two minutes to be absorbed through the dermis and quickly achieve the desired effect.

Zinc pyrithione
Active ingredient with antiseptic and antifungal activity particularly useful in all those cases in which the skin can be the site of bacterial or fungal agents, or in the case of seborrheic dermatitis and / or with dandruff. In fact, in the presence of excess sebum or dandruff, the skin and scalp become the ideal environment for the proliferation of fungi or bacteria that can easily cause irritation and infections.

Omega 3
Active ingredients essential to keep the skin healthy, capable of providing significant benefits both in the case of dry skin and characterized by premature aging. In the case of diseases such as dermatitis and psoriasis, in which the composition of the sebum is altered, a correct intake of Omega 3 helps to restore the correct proportions between the different fatty acids, which guarantee the integrity and functionality of the epithelium. Omega 3s are fundamental components of biological membranes and epithelial tissue and also participate in the formation of the hydrolipidic film produced in the skin and scalp by the sebaceous and sweat glands.

Polydocanol
It has anti-itch properties, and polydocanol-based formulations are useful in treating itchy skin and scalp.
