Nail polish for the keratolytic treatment and the cure of warts based on lactic acid and salicylic acid.

Composition

Lactic acid
Organic acid belonging to the category of alpha hydroxy acids (AHA), substances with keratolytic action capable of breaking the bonds that are created between keratinocytes.
Lactic acid has superior moisturizing and exfoliating capabilities compared to other AHAs, resulting in exceptional and long-lasting hydration. Being a natural component of our body, it is well tolerated, strongly limiting all the irritative actions that can occur in the treatments.

Salicylic acid
Active ingredient with high keratolytic activity, as it is able to selectively break the keratin protein chain, abundantly present in corneocytes. At the cutaneous level, salicylic acid decreases the cohesive forces of the corneocytes. In this way the desquamation of hyperpigmented keratinocytes is favored, at the same time stimulating cell renewal. The final effect promoted by salicylic acid is surprising: the “new” keratinocytes, being less rich in melanic pigment, give the skin a uniform, smooth and luminous appearance. It is also used for its bacteriostatic and soothing properties. In fact, it quickly penetrates into inflamed lesions by exercising these functions, without causing obvious irritation phenomena.
