Stiff Boot Brace (Open On Heel)

It is a light and comfortable medical device that ensures excellent immobilization of the ankle joint, fixed at 90 °. The structure of this orthosis consists of a single piece of injected plastic, capable of guaranteeing maximum stability. The low-profile sole and the lightness of the brace help smooth walking, while the double-lined foam padding increases comfort and endurance. The velcro straps allow a practical and effective closure of the brace.

CONTRAINDICATIONS: The application of this brace is only recommended if it is documented that the fracture is stable and there are acceptable limits of angular and rotational deformity.

• Conservative treatment of acute ligament ruptures (3rd degree discursive trauma)
• Postoperative surgical synthesis of ankle fractures
• Postoperative phase Achilles tendon tenorrhaphy and surgical reconstruction of the ankle ligaments
• Stable fractures of the foot, ankle, tibia and distal fibula
