Bivalve Brace With Foam Padding And Latero-Medial Tie

It ensures excellent latero-medial immobilization of the ankle joint, supporting walking with the right degree of compression and ensuring comfort. The latero-medial tie (half bandage at 8) assists in stabilization and at the same time partially limits (but does not prevent) flexion-extension going even further to protect the injured ligaments. The small size allows the use of the brace even during functional recovery or sporting activity.

• Additional rear padding for better comfort
• Rear elastic closure strap

INDICATIONS

• Functional treatment of second degree distortion trauma
• Functional recovery phase surgical / conservative treatment of ligament ruptures (grade III sprain trauma)
• Functional recovery in the aftermath of malleolar fractures (surgically / conservatively treated)
• Chronic instability of the ankle joint
