Cushioning Footbed With Bar

The newly designed Podifer footbed is the ideal choice for greater well-being and comfort in walking. Despite an ultra-thin line that makes it suitable for any shoe, this insole has a high stability. It also boasts characteristics of long life and comfort of fit due to the use of special materials such as an external textile coating and a lower layer in PU.

Podifer 50 is an insole with a cushioning function. In the presence of calcaneal problems (heel, plantar fasciitis, flat or hollow foot, metatarsalgia), the design and material ensure a high cushioning action, releasing the weight from the heel and thus facilitating walking and standing. The presence of a transverse bar supports the metatarsals and cushions their contact with the ground, and also intensifies the pump function of the insole, improving venous return and stimulating reflexology of the heart and lungs.

• The upper layer is in technical fabric of PA and Elastane with areas with a higher density of yarn to increase its resistance to abrasion.
• The PodoDry felt layer carries sweat to the outside, safeguarding the health of the foot.
• The middle layer in shape memory visco-elastic, in optimized thickness with shock-absorbing function.
• The lower layer in PU, which protects the overlying layers from abrasion and deformation, facilitates the introduction of the insole into the shoe.
• The rigid PU shell stabilizes and supports the foot in prone supination.
• The shock absorber material cushions the first contact of the foot with the ground.
