Royal Canin Medium Junior croquettes are specific for puppies and young medium-sized dogs (11-25 kg) from 2 months up to one year of age. For harmonious growth and a strong immune system.

Medium-sized dogs are usually more robust and agile than other dogs. They know a broad spectrum of activities: they can be quiet companion dogs or dogs engaged in sporting or work activities. The companion dog tends to be overweight and needs a controlled diet. The dog for hunting, running, agility etc. instead it has a high energy requirement. It also requires special protection for skin and coat, as it is subjected to environmental stress factors. Medium-sized dogs that are often outdoors are also at a higher risk of infections, so their immune systems need to be strong and healthy. In the first months of life, the digestive system of medium-sized puppies is still very sensitive. Digestive capacity develops slowly - particular nutrients such as starch etc. they are only moderately digested. Royal Canin Medium Junior contains prebiotics such as fructo-oligosaccharides, mannan-oligosaccharides and dehydrated beet pulp, to facilitate digestion and allow efficient use of nutrients.

Royal Canin Medium Junior was developed in response to the needs of medium-sized puppies in the growth phase (11 - 25 kg), from 2 months of age:
- Harmonic growth: a high energy intake and a higher protein intake (32%) optimally cover the nutritional needs of the growth phase, during which digestive capacity is still reduced.
- Reinforced digestive safety: thanks to a reduced starch content and the presence of fructo-oligosaccharides (FOS) and beet pulp for the intestinal flora.
- Optimal development of the skeleton: thanks to a calibrated supply of calcium and phosphorus, a correct formation of bones and joints is guaranteed.
