The fermentable fibers (dried sugar beet pulp, FOS) on the one hand avoid subjecting your cat's body to excessive digestion and on the other hand act as nourishment for the intestinal microflora and help to strengthen it.
Mannan oligosaccharides (MOS) can stimulate the intestinal local immune system (IgA) and help neutralize pathogenic bacteria. The cat should always have fresh, clean water available.
Suitable for:

• acute and chronic diarrhea
• colitis
• problems of the intestinal flora
• liver disease (except hepatic encephalitis)
• bad digestion, malabsorption
• convalescence
• chronic inflammation of the intestine (IBD)
• anorexia
• gastritis

Contraindicated in case of:

• hepatic encephalopathy
• lymphangectasia - exudative enteropathy
• pancreatitis

Product specific features:

• Digestive safety: highly digestible proteins reduce intestinal fermentation. The fibers that can ferment (FOS) help to balance the intestinal flora.
• High energy level: the high energy thickness allows the administration of small meals and thus does not overload the intestine.
• High palatability: Cats with digestive disorders often have a lack of appetite and weight loss. The excellent taste stimulates the consumption of food and therefore healing.
• EPA / DHA: Ecosapentaenoic acids (EPA) and docosahexaenoic acids (DHA) are long-chain Omega-3 fatty acids. They help maintain the integrity of the digestive tract.

Duration of treatment:

in case of acute diseases, the regeneration of intestinal villi requires a minimum treatment of 3 weeks. Chronic conditions may need lifelong treatment. Cats that tend to be overweight should switch to GASTRO INTESTINAL MODERATE CALORIE for an extended period. To optimize digestion it is necessary to divide the daily amount into several meals.
