With the help of the practical and wide finger holder, it can be used optimally. Hylo-Vision SafeDrop Lipocur supports all three layers of the tear film: the aqueous layer (thanks to hyaluronic acid and glycerol), the lipid layer (thanks to the castor oil lipids), and the mucin layer (thanks to muco-adhesive properties of hyaluronic acid). Hyaluronic acid is a natural substance also present in the structures of the human eye and in the tear film, and is therefore particularly well tolerated. It is characterized by a high capacity to retain water and is viscoelastic. In addition, hyaluronic acid adheres well to the surface of the eye (muco-adhesive properties) and thus increases the duration of action. Glycerol is also a natural substance in the body and an additional moisturizing factor. Thanks to these properties of retaining and releasing moisture, glycerol (together with hyaluronic acid) stabilizes the aqueous layer of the tear film. Therefore, Hylo-Vision SafeDrop Lipocur moistens, moistens and protects the surface of the eye, as well as providing a uniform and stable moist film on the cornea and conjunctiva. The lipids (triglycerides) of castor oil integrate the lipid layer of the tear film, stabilizing it and reducing evaporation. Taurine, another endogenous compound, is the most abundant amino acid physiologically present in the tear film and in various tissues of the eye, for example in the cornea, lens, retina and vitreous body. Taurine has osmoregulatory properties, is absorbed into the cells and acts deeply. Taurine helps restore the osmotic balance disturbed by dry eyes, and protects the cells of the eye surface from drying out and oxidative stress. In dry eye therapy, Hylo-Vision SafeDrop Lipocur therefore offers hydration, protection against evaporation and osmoregulation, thanks to the triple combination of moisturizers (hyaluronic acid and glycerol), lipids and natural taurine. It can be used in all forms of dry eye, both in case of insufficient production of tear fluid (hypo-secretory form) and in case of excessive tear evaporation due to lipid deficiency (hyper-evaporative form). The eye drops are suitable for dry, burning and watery eyes (paradoxical dry eye). Provides moisture, improves the quality of the tear film and protects the surface of the eye. Indications

Hylo-Vision SafeDrop Lipocur can be used in all forms of dry eye, for example:

• in case of pronounced symptoms of dryness and ocular burning;
• for watery eyes (paradoxical dry eye);
• in dry eye due to lipid deficiency - meibomian gland dysfunction;
• in dry eyes caused for example by Sjtigren's syndrome or by taking medications;
• in the post-operative period, for example after cataract, LASIK, LASEK surgery;
• in the presence of environmental stress, for example due to wind / drafts, cold, dry air, air-conditioned rooms or atmospheric pollution;
• in case of fatigue and visual stress caused by prolonged vision, for example work at the computer, under the microscope, or in case of long car trips;
• in case of mechanical stress, caused for example by hard or soft contact lenses or by diagnostic procedures on the eye.

Suitable for use in adolescents and adults.

How to use

Before first use, write the date opened in the space provided on the vial label. Wash your hands and remove the protective cap before each use.
Before using the SafeDrop vial for the first time, press it several times, until the first drop comes out. Keep the vial upside down. Avoid any contact of the dropper tip with your fingers and eye. Make sure your thumb rests on the large, non-slip circular finger rest.
Alternatively, if you are using the eye drops in conjunction with your contact lenses, apply a drop or two to each lens before placing them on your eyes, instead of instilling the eye drops directly into the eye. Hylo-Vision SafeDrop Lipocur can also be applied while wearing contact lenses. After use, the multidose container must be closed with the protective cap.
Use the product as needed or as directed by your specialist.

Components

Lipid phase (contains: glycerol, refined castor oil, tiloxapol, tween 80, poloxamer 188, EDTA, vitamin E acetate, tromethamine hydrochloride, tromethamine, purified water), taurine, sodium EDTA, tromethamine, sodium hyaluronate, HCI or NaOH ( for pH adjustment), water for injections.

Warnings

Do not use in the presence of a hypersensitivity (allergy) to any of the components, Pregnant or lactating women and children should consult the attending physician before using the product.
Temporary impairment of visual acuity (blurred vision) may appear after application. In this case, do not drive vehicles or operate machinery. It is advisable to wait for the restoration of normal visual acuity.
Immediately after applying the eye drops, transient symptoms, such as mild ocular burning, may appear.
Do not use if SafeDrop multidose container is damaged.
Do not touch the eye with the dropper tip to avoid infection or eye injury.
Do not touch the dropper tip with other objects or body parts, to avoid contamination of the product.
Do not use as the only treatment for an eye infection.
Do not use the eye drops after the expiry date, which is stated on each SafeDrop vial and on the collapsible carton.
For reasons of hygiene, the same multi-dose container should not be used by multiple patients.
The product is not suitable as a preservative liquid for contact lenses.
The product must be kept out of the reach of children.
If symptoms persist during use, consult your ophthalmologist.

Suitable for long-term use. However, as in all diseases, if symptoms persist, it is necessary to consult an ophthalmologist.
If another local eye treatment is also followed, about 30 minutes should pass between the two applications. Hylo-Vision SafeDrop Lipocur must be applied after the other products.
