Quick grip

The pinstripe bandages are perforated cotton strips filled with the finest quick-setting synthetic gypsum, ready to be impregnated with water.
Once moistened, in fact, the plaster casts become very soft and creamy and can therefore be easily modeled on any surface, even in several layers.
After a quick drying, you will get a smooth and rigid structure characterized by high strength and hardness and with a good ability to take the detail of the model on which the plaster cast has been spread.
For these characteristics, the plaster casts are ideal for taking the cast of any type of object and in particular for making anatomical casts (eg face or other parts of the body), being a completely non-toxic product.
The plaster casts can also be used as a material to make the positive in copy from silicone rubber, latex or alginate casts.
Another use of plaster casts is for the production of support counter-molds for thin "skin" casts produced with spatulable silicone rubber, latex or alginate, which would otherwise deform under the weight of the cast material to obtain the positive copy (eg. ceramic plaster, synthetic plaster, polyurethane resin, epoxy resin, polyurethane rubber, etc.).

USE OF PLASTER BANDAGES

Immerse the bandages in water for max 5 seconds and wring lightly
Quickly apply to the desired surface
Press lightly on the bandages adapting them to the surface
The operation can be repeated several times, creating several layers.
The greater the number of levels created with the bandages, the greater the mechanical resistance that is obtained.
