Atomization of topical solutions via the nose

AlunebMAD Nasal is a needle-free medical device for the nebulization of topical solutions via the nose. It allows to carry out topical treatments of the nasal and sinus cavities, and allows the rapid administration of the Aluneb® solution through nebulization in particles with a size of 30-100 microns in diameter, ideal for the therapy of the upper airways. MAD Nasal is a device used, in pre-hospital and emergency rooms, for the administration of anesthetics, anticonvulsants and painkillers intranasally. Thanks to its soft tonic adapter, it guarantees a seal on the nostril and ergonomically adapts to the nostrils of adults and children. The malleable tube allows 180 ° positioning of the conical adapter.

Cleaning of MAD Nasal : It is intended for single patient use, but can be used multiple times. For this reason, it is very important to carefully clean the device after each use in order to ensure its durability and good functioning. Wash MAD Nasal under lukewarm running water. Before storing MAD Nasal dry it thoroughly with a soft cloth or a jet of hot air.

Directions for use:

1. Disconnect the MAD Nasal device by unscrewing it from the supplied syringe

2. Open the Alunebmonodos vial by swirling the flaps

3. Connect the vial to the syringe and withdraw half of the solution contained in the vial

4. Secure the MAD Nasal by screwing it onto the syringe

5. Insert the tip of the MAD Nasalin into a nostril. Keep your torso upright. Firmly push the plunger of the syringe to atomise the solution.

6. Repeat the operations, from point 3 to point 5, also for the other nostril

Warnings : do not use MAD Nasal after the expiry date reported on the package. Do not use MAD Nasal if the packaging is open or damaged. Keep MAD Nasal away from hot surfaces and protect from sunlight. Store in a dry place between + 5 ° C and + 25 ° C. Do not freeze Before each use check that the MAD Nasal device is not damaged; if it is damaged, do not use it for nebulization. For re-use, clean following the instructions given in the paragraph “Cleaning MAD Nasal. The device must be used for no more than 100 sprays and in any case for no more than one month. The use of MAD Nasal by children or non self-sufficient people must be under the supervision of an adult who has read these instructions for use. It is advisable to consult your doctor before using MAD Nasal. Keep out of the reach and sight of the child. Multiple patient use of products intended for single patient use may result in degraded performance or impaired functionality of the products and may result in exposure to pathogenic agents. For these products there are no validated cleaning esterilization methods, nor instructions for reprocessing according to the original specification. This product is not designed to be cleaned, disinfected or sterilized.
