Salus infusions
Salus infusions are known all over the world for their high level of purity. In fact, Salus has established more rigorous quality standards than those set by law. This involves a loss of raw materials that can reach up to 20%. This is necessary to ensure that no foreign components enter the products.
At Salus, quality has always been a choice, not a necessity. This is why we have set ourselves standards that are much higher than those proposed by the law: we are much more demanding.
Once the compliance of the raw materials with our standards has been ascertained, the next step is cutting and sieving. The sacks of herbs are gently opened, foreign components are blown away by a jet of air and the herbs are cut.
Post-cutting ventilation and manual sorting are probably Salus' unique processes: an experienced person recognizes the last few unwanted components among the cut herbs that run on a conveyor belt. The herbs are then weighed and mixed in industrial batteries and finally hygienically packaged.
The Salus line of filter infusions includes specific infusions and biological infusions. All products are free of preservatives and synthetic flavors and are compatible with a vegetarian and vegan diet.
THE ORGANIC
Years ago, Salus was touched by the problem of sourcing premium herbs for its herbal teas. In the Salus oases in Chile there are ideal environmental conditions for the cultivation of various herbs.
The climate is favorable, pollution levels are low as are the risks of industrial pollution contamination. Thanks to these conditions it is possible for us to grow plants respecting the organic farming protocol.
Professionally qualified agronomists check the organic cultivation of our herbs ensuring that no synthetic pesticides or fertilizers are used.
