It is a product based on plant extracts called "salvestroli".

General informations
Foods of plant origin contain important bioactive compounds, called phytonutrients, which are part of the defense systems that plants put in place to protect themselves from pathogens, sunlight, oxidation, predators. Unlike the vitamins and minerals present in foods of plant origin, phytonutrients "are not essential" for human survival; however, they can help protect human health as well.
Numerous epidemiological data have shown a close relationship between diet and various diseases, so much so that scholars affirm that a lack of these elements in the diet can cause cell damage, premature aging and many types of diseases. It is therefore not surprising that these phytonutrients can be considered a fundamental component of a healthy diet.
In the UK, Gerry Potter (Professor of Pharmaceutical Chemistry) and Dan Burke (Professor Emeritus of Pharmaceuticals and former Head of the School of Pharmacy), over the course of their 20-year studies, have discovered that fruits and vegetables are the main sources of a group of phytonutrients, which they call salvestrols, which some plants produce to defend themselves from attack by fungi.

Beneficial effects
Salvestrols are secondary metabolites (phytoalexins) which are not produced continuously by plants, except in response to a pathogenic stimulus represented by fungi. Modern agricultural practices, due to the widespread use of fungicides, have significantly depleted our foods of salvestroli, making it difficult to derive any benefit through eating habits alone.
In the context of a possible nutritional approach, Salvestrol® Platinum can represent a valid help to take significantly high levels of salvestrols useful for keeping the body in good health.
To date, there are no clinical studies that can confirm the possible role, hypothesized by British researchers, of salvestrols as antineoplastic substances (1-14).
The Salvestrols contained in Salvestrol® Platinum derive from organic plants not treated with fungicides.

How to use: Adults and children over 12 years, one capsule twice a day, with a glass of water during main meals.

Ingredients: Citrus bioflavonoids, Pumpkin fruit powder (Cucurbita maxima Duchesne),
Vine seeds powder (Vitis vinifera L.). Bulking agent: Rice flour; Capsule: Hydroxypropylmethylcellulose (HPMC). The color of the powder may vary according to the production batch.
