Elage Complex - Emulsion for the Rebalancing of the Skin Barrier

Elage COMPLEX is a special emulsion containing pure Sacha Inchi oil, an oil that is extracted from the seeds of Pluchenetia Volubilis, and which has one of the highest concentrations in omega 3, omega 6, omega 9 and Vitamin E fatty acids . The polyunsaturated fatty acids present in very high concentration in the SANAMEDICA GROUP cosmetic line play a fundamental role in restoring the lipid component of the stratum corneum. These polyunsaturated fatty acids are called "essential" as they cannot be synthesized by the body. They are easily picked up by keratinocytes, thanks also to their high ability to penetrate the skin, restoring elasticity and softness to the skin.

The normalization of the lipid film and of the keratinization process determines the restoration of the functionality of the skin barrier causing the reduction of: dehydration, xerosis, inflammation and itching . The antioxidant activity due to omega 9 and vitamin E allows omega 3 and 6 to maintain all their ability to reactivate the functionality of the skin barrier.
